Everything in Ovyrena belongs to a Company, your business account. If you own several businesses, each is its own Company and you switch between them with the company switcher at the top of the menu.
The building blocks
- Location: a place where you work, such as a restaurant, a building or a branch. Every Company has at least one.
- Resource: anything you book or occupy, such as a room, apartment, table, chair or piece of equipment. A Resource belongs to one Location and has no price of its own.
- Layout: a map of a Location’s Resources that your team works from during a shift.
- Offering: a Service or Product you charge for. Every amount a Customer pays comes from Offerings.
- Booking: the use of one Resource from a start time to an optional end, usually for a Customer.
- Employees join by invitation. Their Role decides what they can see and do.
The menu
The Company menu shows only what your Role allows:
- Overview: today at a glance and what needs attention.
- Bookings: the list and calendar of Bookings.
- Work queue: order items waiting to be prepared and served.
- Locations, Resources, Customers, Offerings and Employees: the setup of your business.
- Analytics: how the business is doing. Billing: your Ovyrena subscription, for the Owner only.
Good to know
- Managers, Finance and Staff see only the Locations they are assigned to. If you see a message that you are not assigned to any Location, ask the Owner to add you.
- Station Staff start on the Work queue instead of the Overview.
