Prepare items in the Work queue

Every order item that needs preparing goes to the Work station set on its Offering, for example the kitchen or the bar. The Work queue shows those items until the Customer has them.

At a Work station

1. Open Work queue. The items for your Work stations are under Pending preparation.
2. When an item is done, choose Mark ready. The Employee responsible for the Booking is notified.

Serving the Customer

1. Under Ready for pickup, choose Mark picked up when you collect the item.
2. Under Picked up, choose Mark served once the Customer has it.
3. Items that need no preparation are under Direct service. Confirm them after giving them to the Customer.

Good to know

• Only Employees assigned to an item’s Work station can mark it ready. Owners and Managers can manage every station.
• Station Staff see only the Work queue; they do not see Bookings or prices.
• The queue updates by itself. Turn on sound to hear new items.
