Export and import the price list

Edit all your Offerings in Excel and upload the file back.

OwnerManager

Edit your whole price list in Excel and upload it back. Open Offerings and choose import and export.

Export

Under Download your price list, choose Download Excel (.xlsx) or Download CSV. Starting from scratch? Download a template under Start a new price list.

Import

  1. Edit the file. The Price list sheet needs Name, Type, Price, Tax rate and Charged per; POS code, Category, Unit, Billing step, Description and Active are optional. The Allowed values sheet explains each column.
  2. Choose the file under Upload a price list and choose Check file.
  3. Review the preview. Nothing is saved yet: you see what is new, what is updated and every error.
  4. If there are errors, fix those rows and upload again. Otherwise choose Import to save every change at once.

Location settings

The Excel file also has a Location settings sheet for availability, price, tax rate and Work station per Location. It changes only the Locations and columns it lists. An empty price or tax rate returns to the default; for Work station, No work order routes without preparation and Not set removes the route.

Good to know

  • Offerings are matched by POS code, or by name when there is no code. Offerings missing from the file are not changed.
  • A column missing from the file stays as it is; an empty cell clears that optional field.
  • Up to 2 MB and 2,000 rows. The preview expires after 30 minutes.
  • Prices are read in your company’s pricing mode (with or without tax).
  • Missing categories are created. Any error stops the whole import, so nothing is half done.
