Add the Offering
- Open Offerings and choose to add an offering.
- Choose Service (accommodation, cleaning, an activity or anything performed for a Customer) or Product (food, drinks or anything sold as an item).
- Enter a name your team will recognize when adding charges, for example Breakfast. Add the POS code from your cash register if it uses one, and a category.
- Set the Default price and how it is charged: per booking, per day, per person, per item or per hour. For per hour, also choose the billing step.
- Check the tax rate and, for items, the unit shown next to quantities, such as pcs.
- Choose Create offering.
Use it on Bookings
The Offering is now available when you create or change a Booking and when you take an order. Each Booking keeps its own copy of the name, price and tax rate, so changing the Offering later never changes past Bookings.
Per Location
Open the Offering to choose where it is available, a different price or tax rate at a Location, and where it is prepared (its Work station, or no work order).
Good to know
- Resources have no price of their own. Everything a Customer pays comes from Offerings.
- Per hour bills every started step of actual time: with 15-minute steps, 1 h 5 min is billed as 1 h 15 min.
- Whether prices include tax is one setting for the whole company.
- Owners and Managers manage Offerings.
