An Offering charged per hour bills the time a Booking actually uses, such as a padel court, a meeting room or a bike.
Set it up
- Open the Offering, or create one, and set Charged per to Hour.
- Choose the Billing step: 1, 5, 10, 15 (the default) or 30 minutes, or 1 hour.
- Enter the price per hour and save.
How the time is billed
- Every started step is charged. With 15-minute steps, 1 h 5 min is billed as 1 h 15 min. At least one step is always billed.
- Until the Booking ends, the line shows an Estimate from the planned start to the planned end. A Booking without an end shows At completion.
- When the Booking is completed, every hourly line is billed again on the actual time, from the actual start to completion. The Booking’s activity shows Time billed.
- If a Booking in progress is cancelled, the time up to the cancellation is billed. If it never started, its hourly lines are not charged.
Good to know
- An hourly line can be marked paid once the Booking is completed or cancelled, when the time is final.
- Hourly Offerings are added to the Booking itself, not taken as orders.
- Time is measured exactly, so a change to or from daylight saving time never adds or removes an hour.
